Strange Tools by art collective Fertile Art Refinery in collaboration with MakeIT is an exhibition featuring all new works by eight women artists. The exhibition delves into matters close to the artists, from looking anew at mundane everyday objects and exploring relationships between ourselves, nature and technology, to recollecting personal archives of memories and collapsing the boundaries between self and others. The artists are Agatha “Agy” Lee, Cynthia Delaney Suwito, Jennifer Teo, Smiha Kapoor, TechneFractals, Teo Huey Ling, Veronyka Lau and Xin Xiaochang, and the exhibition is curated in conversation with Kamiliah Bahdar.
